Free People Unveils July 2011 Lookbook
Now that you have had a taste of summer, it is time to look ahead to the colder months. For instance, Free People has just unveiled its July 2011 lookbook, in which Australian model Bambi Northwood-Blyth models the pre-fall collection. Our verdict? Perfect in Paris
I just stumbled upon the Paris apartment of Delfina Deletrrez, jewelry designer and heiress to to FENDI in Harper’s Baazar. LOVING IT. Why are apartments in Paris always so damned pretty? And not in the I have the most expensive decorator in the world way. More like the, I am that girl wearing last nights eye makeup but I have spectacular taste and I love flea markets and antique stores. The Paris Apartment is like the home equivalent of your best t-shit, jeans and brown boot combo, with killer irreverent chunky jewelry. The herringbone wood floors, white walls, and rooms with great architectural detail are standard. When I say I would go ��minimal�� in my next apartment, I mean something like this. Not bare, but not ��decorated.�� And I’m pretty sure my idea of minimal is still someone else’s idea of cluttered. But its pretty clutter, in designated clutter spots. vintage style file : the 90’s jumper dress
Hellooooo again! I’m back to kick off Lune’s Vintage Style File for September with how to style a 90’s jumper dress. When I found this cute black floral cotton dress, it had big shell buttons and a weird, matronly long hemline. We gave it a quick makeover, removing the buttons (since it’s way too low of a neckline to wear alone anyhow) and gave it a slightly asymmetrical hemline. Looking at these photos, I think I’m going to take another go at it and take the front up another couple inches. I paired it with a vintage crochet cardigan, grey racer tank, peep toe platforms and demi bell bottoms to make it wearable for fall. Now check out my snazzy modeling skills…katchow!
